| This has been a good web-journal-blog thingy.
But it's gotta go.
Xanga's dying for Tupelo, and I had never realized how many people were on Facebook.
Anyways, I'm leaving this site up, but I will be moving permanently over to Facebook from here out.
The address is http://hs.facebook.com/profile.php?id=503202773
I think; fb's kinda weird like that.
Anyways, look me up;
Signing off--

| So I'm planning my senior trip, and it looks like I will be running solo.
Whether or not this is a bad thing remains to be seen.
I am making about $200-300 a month, between Starbucks and Ichiban. If I can save just about all of the money I make, I can save about $1000 by May-June, possibly more if I pick up more hours. It shouldn't be that hard, considering my parents pay for my gas and I get about $20 a week tip money from Starbucks-- great for the small expenditures that occur in the course of my usual week.
If I can garner about another thousand from my family, extended and otherwise, I can probably travel to Western Europe and generally have a good time for a couple of weeks. Hostels in France, Switzerland, Germany, and Italy are extremely easy to find, as well as really cheap. They run about $20-25 a night, which gets you basically a bed and a shower. My idea is basically to fly into an airport on one end of Europe, make my way to the other side, and fly out of one on the other.
I figure that with about $2000, I can manage it if I'm pretty frugal. But I've always been frugal, so it works.
Here is my idea for said trip:
Fly Atlanta -> Paris About a week in France, about 3 days in Paris. Travel to Germany, spend about 2 days there Travel to Italy/Vatican City, about 2 more days there Fly out of Italy
I dunno. I'll end with one of my favorite poems of this poetry unit in school so far:
FIRE AND ICE Some say the world will end in fire, Some say in ice. From what I've tasted of desire I hold with those who favor fire But if it had to perish twice, I think I know enough of hate To say that for destruction ice Is also great And would suffice.

| Urgh. I'm having severe problems with my workload. As most probably know by now, I picked up a job at Starbucks as well as Ichiban. When I took the job at Starbucks, they said I'd be working on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. I was warned that I would be working a lot during the week during training, but the full impact of this hasn't hit until recently.
Every evening I'm not at Ichiban, I'm at Starbucks.
Let me rephrase that.
I WORK SEVEN FUCKING NIGHTS A WEEK.
THERE ARE SEVEN DAYS IN A WEEK.
This is gonna have to stop. Either I'll have to drop Ichiban, or make it particularly clear that I will not be available on weekdays to work at Starbucks, but this is ri-fucking-diculous. I've not been been getting enough sleep as it is, and now, I have mountains of work to do at school as well. I can't stay up past 11:30 or so without being completely worthless at school the next day, so that rather limits the amount of time I can spend on homework and shit.
Augh... this is aggravating.
